The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed veteran long snapper Jon Weeks to a one-year deal, preventing him from becoming an unrestricted free agent. Weeks, who joined the 49ers last year after 15 seasons with Houston, earned his second Pro Bowl selection in 2025. Since entering the league in 2010 as an undrafted free agent, he has played in 261 consecutive games and turned 40 on February 17.
