(AP) — Carson Cooper led No. 15 Michigan State to a 66-60 victory over Ohio State with a career-high 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Jeremy Fears contributed 11 points and eight assists. Ohio State’s Bruce Thornton scored 32 points but the team struggled without key players, falling to 0-9 against Quadrant 1 teams. Michigan State secured a late lead and held on despite Ohio State’s late comeback attempt. Up next, Ohio State faces Iowa, and Michigan State plays No. 7 Purdue.
