According to Tony Pauline, the Miami Dolphins plan to start quarterback Quinn Ewers, a 2025 seventh-round draft pick, along with a veteran backup for the upcoming season. New offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik supports Ewers, who became the starter after Tua Tagovailoa was benched. The Dolphins are exploring free agent options, with Malik Willis as a potential target, but may consider signing Jimmy Garoppolo if they can’t secure Willis. Tagovailoa is expected to leave Miami, with his camp indicating they don’t foresee him being with the team in Week 1.
