Rockford goalie Stanislav Berezhnoy and Coachella Valley forward David Goyette have been suspended for 20 games each for violating the AHL/PHPA Performance Enhancing Substance Program, marking their first offense. Berezhnoy, in his first North American season, has a record of 5-9-1 with a 3.18 GAA, while Goyette, a second-round draft pick in 2022, has struggled to translate junior success into the AHL, with only 10 points in 47 games this season. Both players will be eligible to return before the playoffs, with Berezhnoy eligible on April 11th and Goyette one day earlier. Their participation in any playoff push could be complicated by the lengthy absence from game action.
