Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander will be sidelined for at least five to six months following left labral surgery, as announced by manager John Schneider. Santander, who joined the Blue Jays on a five-year, $92.5 million contract, played only 54 games last season. Schneider also reported that former Cy Young winner Shane Bieber is experiencing forearm fatigue and won’t be ready for Opening Day, while Bowden Francis will undergo season-ending surgery for a torn ulnar collateral ligament.
