Ayo Dosunmu, traded from the Chicago Bulls to the Minnesota Timberwolves, embraces the chance to join an NBA title contender outside his home state. The Timberwolves acquired Dosunmu, averaging 15 points with a 45.1% 3-point shooting rate, to bolster their bench offense after losing Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Although Dosunmu and teammate Julian Phillips missed a game against New Orleans, he aims to play against the Clippers. Minnesota’s president, Tim Connelly, sees Dosunmu as a key part of the team’s future.
