Frank Thomas, a former Chicago White Sox first baseman and Hall of Famer, expressed his frustration on social media after being omitted from the team’s Black history timeline posted for Black History Month. Thomas, who played 16 seasons with the White Sox and holds numerous franchise records, criticized the organization for forgetting his contributions, saying, “I guess the Black player who made you rich over there and holds all your records is forgettable!” He won the AL MVP in 1993 and 1994 and was a key player in the team’s 2005 World Series victory.
