Derek Falvey removed as Twins’ executive

The Minnesota Twins and president of baseball operations Derek Falvey mutually parted ways just weeks before spring training, amid a leadership transition following ownership changes. Falvey, who joined the team in 2016 and oversaw four postseason berths, stated the decision was made after constructive discussions with controlling owner Tom Pohlad.
