NBC is set to enhance its Major League Baseball coverage by bringing on notable players Clayton Kershaw, Joey Votto, and Anthony Rizzo for broadcasts starting in 2026. This trio boasts 49 years of combined MLB experience, including 20 All-Star selections and multiple prestigious awards. NBC, which previously ceased MLB broadcasts in 2000, has secured a deal worth nearly $200 million per year for “Sunday Night Baseball.” The Peacock streaming platform will also host many of these games, aligning with NBC’s growing investment in sports broadcasting.
