The Denver Broncos have fired offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, according to NFL Network reporters Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. Lombardi joined the team in 2023, helping them achieve a 14-3 record and secure the AFC’s 1-seed, but their season concluded with a 10-7 loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC title game. The Broncos averaged 23.6 points per game in 2025, ranking 14th in the NFL. Lombardi previously worked with head coach Sean Payton at the New Orleans Saints before joining the Broncos.
