Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix will be sidelined for 12 weeks following ankle surgery, with a four-week period of no weight-bearing activity. He sustained the injury during the divisional-round win over the Buffalo Bills and has previously fractured his ankle three times, but this fracture is in a different location with no long-term concerns. Nix, who led the team to an AFC-best record this season, has a .706 winning percentage over the last two years. Jarrett Stidham will take over as the starting quarterback for the remainder of the playoffs as the Broncos prepare for the AFC championship against the New England Patriots.
