Aaron Judge expressed hope for the Yankees to retain Cody Bellinger and Trent Grisham, who are entering free agency, following the team’s ALDS exit. The Yankees have re-signed key players, including Bellinger on a five-year deal, while Grisham accepted a qualifying offer. Manager Aaron Boone emphasized their strong roster and the importance of player development, particularly with the expected return of Gerrit Cole from Tommy John surgery. As the season approaches, the Yankees aim to improve on their 94-win performance despite potential challenges from a similar roster structure.
