The Philadelphia 76ers are set to re-sign center Charles Bassey to a 10-day contract, as reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania. Bassey, who was originally drafted by the Sixers in 2021, averaged 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 23 games during his rookie season. After being waived in October 2022, he has played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League, averaging 18.7 points and 10.7 rebounds this season. His addition brings the Sixers’ roster to 15 players, allowing two others, Jabari Walker and Dominick Barlow, to remain on two-way contracts.
