Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that Mike McDaniel, the former head coach of the Dolphins and current offensive coordinator for the Chargers, has canceled a scheduled interview for the Buffalo Bills’ head-coaching position. Earlier in the week, he also withdrew from consideration for the Browns’ job but remains a candidate for the Raiders’ opening. It appears McDaniel may prefer his current role with the Chargers over the available head-coaching positions. McDaniel, 42, has a coaching history dating back to 2005 and led the Dolphins to a 35-33 record during his tenure.
