CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Kurt Busch was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame alongside Harry Gant and Ray Hendrick. Busch, a 2004 Cup Series champion, reflected on his unexpected journey from dwarf cars to NASCAR stardom, expressing gratitude for his experiences. Gant, with 18 victories, and Hendrick, known for over 700 wins in modified racing, were also honored, while track promoter H.A. Wheeler received the Landmark Award posthumously. Jack Roush was recognized with the Bill France Award of Excellence, becoming its first two-time recipient.
