The Falcons have completed their first interview for the General Manager position with Texans assistant GM James Liipfert, who has been with the Texans since 2018 and was promoted last year. Liipfert previously served as the director of college scouting and worked alongside Texans GM Nick Caserio at the Patriots from 2009-2017. Additionally, the Falcons have requested interviews with Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham and 49ers director of scouting Josh Williams.
