The Dallas Cowboys are considering Christian Parker, the Philadelphia Eagles’ secondary coach and passing game coordinator, for their defensive coordinator position, as reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Parker, 34, previously worked with the Eagles after coaching under Vic Fangio in Denver and has a background in college coaching. He will replace Matt Eberflus, who was fired after one season, marking the Cowboys’ fourth defensive coordinator in four years. Under Parker, the Eagles had a top-performing secondary, allowing an NFL-best 174.2 passing yards per game in 2024.
