The injury occurred while Brunson was attempting to cross up Maxime Raynaud, causing him to slip and fall with 7:45 left in the quarter. He managed to score four points in five minutes before checking out at 7:01 and heading to the locker room. This marks a recurrence of an ankle issue, as Brunson missed two games last November due to a similar injury.
