Fred Warner, the San Francisco 49ers’ star linebacker, is showing significant progress in his rehabilitation from a dislocated and fractured right ankle sustained on October 12. He shared a video on Instagram following the team’s NFC Wild Card victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, indicating he is nearing a return to practice. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan suggested that the likelihood of opening Warner’s practice window this week is low, with a more realistic target for his return being the NFC Championship Game on January 25, contingent on the 49ers advancing past the Seattle Seahawks this Saturday.
