David Blough has been named the new offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders after serving as the QB coach in 2024. His promotion comes following the dismissal of Kliff Kingsbury and amid interest from the Detroit Lions for their OC role. The Commanders’ offense struggled in the previous season, ranking No. 22 in total offense, partly due to injuries to QB Jayden Daniels. Blough’s strong rapport with Daniels and experience with top quarterbacks are seen as assets for the team’s future.
