Texans LB Azeez Al-Shaair sustained a knee injury in Sunday’s game against the Patriots, with HC Demeco Ryans stating that he tried to return but was unable to and is currently being evaluated. With both starting LBs dealing with injuries (Henry To’oTo’o has a concussion) and Christian Harris still on IR for a calf injury, Neville Hewitt stepped in for Al-Shaair and would start if needed, while Jake Hansen is next in line if To’oTo’o is out and Harris remains sidelined. Updates on the linebacker situation are expected throughout the week.
