Denver Nuggets center Jonas Valanciunas exited Wednesday’s victory over the Toronto Raptors due to a right calf injury, which he described as a “pop” felt late in the third quarter. He had contributed 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in 23 minutes, starting in place of Nikola Jokic, who is sidelined for at least four weeks with a knee injury. Following Valanciunas’s departure, coach David Adelman utilized small-ball lineups. Valanciunas left the arena in a walking boot but was able to walk independently.
