The New England Patriots’ defensive tackle, Christian Barmore, is facing a domestic assault charge following an incident with his ex-girlfriend in August, where she alleges he threw her phone and pushed her to the floor over a disagreement about air conditioning and food. Barmore is set to be arraigned on February 3, just days before the Super Bowl. The Patriots have acknowledged the situation, stating they were informed at the time and are cooperating with the NFL. Barmore, a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, recently signed a lucrative contract extension and recorded 26 tackles and one sack in the 2025 season.
