The Ottawa Senators have activated center Shane Pinto off injured reserve, allowing him to return to the lineup against Columbus after missing four weeks due to a lower-body injury. Pinto had a strong start to the season with nine goals and six assists in 18 games but struggled offensively with just three goals and one assist in his last nine games before his injury. Additionally, defenseman Tyler Kleven returned after three games out, replacing Nick Jensen in the lineup. The team continues to navigate injuries, particularly with starting goalie Linus Ullmark away from the team indefinitely.
