Mavs Seek Disabled Player Exceptions for Lively II and Exum

The Dallas Mavericks have applied for Disabled Player Exceptions (DPE) for center Dereck Lively II and guard Dante Exum, both expected to miss the rest of the season due to injuries. If approved, the Mavericks will receive a $2.6 million DPE for Lively and a $1.1 million DPE for Exum, which can be used to sign or trade for players with expiring contracts.
