December has been more favorable for the Nets, who are set to welcome back guard Cam Thomas after an eight-week hamstring injury. Thomas, who last played on Nov. 5, averaged 21.4 points before his injury, during which the Nets went 8-12. His return comes as the team has found some success, led by Michael Porter Jr., who is averaging 25.7 points. Thomas will be an unrestricted free agent next summer after signing a one-year qualifying offer.
