Anthony Davis of the Mavericks has suffered his 13th career groin injury, a minor strain that is expected to sideline him for a few games, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. After leaving the Christmas Day game against the Warriors, Davis reported tightness in his leg but stated it was not serious. Despite playing in only half of the Mavericks’ games this season, he has averaged 20.5 points and 10.9 rebounds. Meanwhile, trade rumors surround Davis, who has a hefty contract and seeks an extension.
