Tom Pelissero reports that the Steelers are committed to WR D.K. Metcalf for the upcoming season, despite his two-game suspension due to conduct detrimental to the league after an incident with a fan. Although the suspension may allow the team to void $45 million in future contract guarantees, it seems they will not take that route. Metcalf, who will lose over $555,000 in game checks, is set to return after the Steelers’ Week 18 game. He was traded to Pittsburgh from Seattle and signed a substantial extension through 2029.
