The Tampa Bay Rays have hired former All-Star Corey Dickerson as their first base coach, marking his first big league coaching role at 36 after retiring in 2023. Dickerson played for the Rays from 2016 to 2018 under manager Kevin Cash, achieving a .265 batting average and an All-Star selection in 2017. He had a successful career, including a Gold Glove in 2018 with the Pirates, and finished with a .280 average and 136 home runs. Prior to this position, he coached high school baseball in Mississippi.
