The Milwaukee Brewers have signed right-handed pitcher Gerson Garabito and left-hander Drew Rom to minor league contracts, both receiving non-roster invitations to Spring Training. Garabito, 30, returns to affiliated baseball after a successful stint in Korea, where he posted a 2.64 ERA, while Rom, 26, a former fourth-round pick, struggled with injuries and an 8.02 ERA in his limited appearances for the Cardinals. Rom is looking to bounce back after shoulder surgery and a challenging season. Both players aim to earn a spot on the Brewers’ major league roster.
