Cooper Flagg Makes NBA History
In a thrilling overtime game, the Dallas Mavericks fell 140-133 to the Utah Jazz, despite Cooper Flagg becoming the youngest player in NBA history to score at least 40 points, finishing with 42 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Flagg’s performance ties him with Mavericks legend Mark Aguirre as the highest-scoring rookie in franchise history. The Mavericks currently sit 12th in the Western Conference, while the Jazz are 10th. Flagg, an 18-year-old forward, had an outstanding debut season at Duke University, averaging 17.5 points over 25 matches with the Mavericks.
