Shortstop Ha-Seong Kim has rejoined the Atlanta Braves on a one-year, $20 million contract following a $4 million raise, after declining a $16 million player option with Tampa Bay. General manager Alex Anthopoulos expressed hope for a long-term relationship with Kim, who batted .234 with five homers and 17 RBIs last season. Kim’s return allows Mauricio Dubón to take a utility role instead of starting at shortstop. The Braves have also secured outfielder Mike Yastrzemski and reliever Robert Suarez in recent deals.
