Mumbai Indians have acquired a 49% stake in The Hundred’s Oval Invincibles, with Surrey County Cricket Club retaining 51%, resulting in the ECB no longer overseeing the team starting from the 2026 season. The teams will now compete as MI London, expanding the MI franchise to seven teams across five countries, including South Africa, UAE, USA, India, and now London, with a strong track record of success in various leagues.
