The Mets plan to non-tender left-handed reliever Danny Young ahead of MLB’s deadline on Nov. 21, making him a free agent. Young, who underwent Tommy John surgery in May after appearing in 10 games this season, is on track for a return in the first half of the 2026 season; he pitched to a 4.54 ERA in his first season with the Mets.
