The 49ers are holding tryouts for kickers Parker Romo, Anders Carlson, and Tanner Brown after Eddy Piñeiro sustained a Grade 1 hamstring strain and is “week-to-week,” as stated by coach Kyle Shanahan. Romo has had a successful season with the Falcons, while Carlson, who previously played for the 49ers, has experience with the Jets and Packers, and Brown is yet to make his NFL debut.
