The Pirates have outrighted right-hander Michael Darrell-Hicks to Triple-A Indianapolis after he cleared waivers following his designation for assignment. Acquired in June from the Angels, the 28-year-old has pitched 9 2/3 innings in the majors, allowing eight earned runs, and despite a rough 2025 in Triple-A, he showed promise in prior seasons with a 3.79 ERA over 180 2/3 innings.
