Right-hander Yu Darvish will miss the 2026 season with the San Diego Padres following ulnar collateral ligament surgery on his elbow. The 39-year-old, who previously underwent Tommy John surgery in 2015, posted a 5-5 record with a 5.38 ERA last season and will focus on rehab while his son prepares for college baseball at UC San Diego.
