The Portland Trail Blazers have been sold to Tom Condon, owner of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, for $4.25 billion, with the sale closing in March 2026. Following the death of Paul Allen in 2018, his sister Jody has managed the team, but Condon will take over as majority owner and governor, with a second transaction to finalize the sale in 2028.
