Happy birthday to the late Chicago Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg!
Sandberg, a 16-season MLB player and 15-year Cubs second baseman, achieved 10 All-Star selections, nine Gold Gloves, and was the 1984 National League MVP. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005, he passed away from pancreatic cancer this year, leaving a lasting legacy celebrated with a statue at Wrigley Field.
