Pakistan team to boycott World Cup opening ceremony in India

Pakistan’s team will not participate in the opening ceremony or captain’s photoshoot due to skipper Fatima Sana’s absence, with all their matches in Colombo, including a game against India on October 5. The tournament, hosted in India and Sri Lanka, will see Pakistan playing their first match against Bangladesh on October 2, with potential semi-final and final matches in Colombo at the R Premadasa Stadium.
