Indian Test batter Hanuma Vihari has decided to leave Andhra cricket and join Tripura, where he is expected to lead the team in the upcoming domestic season. Vihari’s move follows a controversial exit from Andhra earlier this year, where he alleged political interference in team selections and declared he would not play for the state again. Despite briefly considering staying after a change in government, Vihari has now applied for a No Objection Certificate and is set to start a new chapter with Tripura, who have confirmed their interest in signing him as a player and captain across formats.
