Austin Warren has been optioned after pitching 4.0 scoreless innings for the Mets, who are promoting right-hander Dom Hamel from Triple-A Syracuse for his major league debut. Hamel, 26, has a 4.73 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 22 games this season, joining a revamped bullpen that includes recent acquisitions Ryan Helsley, Tyler Rogers, and Gregory Soto.
