Olivier Giroud has signed a one-year contract with Ligue 1 club Lille, returning to France after a disappointing stint with LAFC in MLS, where he scored only three goals in 21 matches. The 38-year-old last played in France in 2012 and joins Lille, who aim to improve upon their 5th place finish in the 2024/25 season and secure a spot in the Champions League.
