Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has signed legislation to allocate up to $500 million in sales tax revenue for Chase Field renovations, contingent on the Arizona Diamondbacks securing a lease extension with Maricopa County beyond 2027. The renovations will focus on infrastructure upgrades, with the team also committing $250 million to the project and facing penalties if they leave before 2050.
