In a significant trade, the Boston Red Sox have sent Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants, confirmed by his agent, Nelson Montes de Oca. The deal includes players Jordan Hicks and Kyle Harrison heading to Boston, as Devers, a three-time All-Star and key player with a .272 batting average, expresses dissatisfaction with the team’s management after a rocky relationship following the signing of Alex Bregman. Devers, who helped the Red Sox win the 2018 World Series, is not the first All-Star to be traded, following Mookie Betts’ departure in 2020.
