Contract negotiations have resumed between the Cincinnati Bengals and defensive end Trey Hendrickson, who has been absent from mandatory minicamp and is reportedly prepared to miss games or the entire season without a new deal. Hendrickson seeks a long-term contract in the $34 million per year range, while the Bengals have offered $28 million per year. Despite concerns regarding Hendrickson’s age of 30, an NFC executive believes a compromise that exceeds $30 million annually is possible.
