The Los Angeles Rams announced the waiver of cornerback Derion Kendrick, who was placed on injured reserve last July due to a torn ACL, missing the entire previous season. By releasing Kendrick, the Rams free up $3,406,000 in cap space while incurring $33,003 in dead money, as he was entering the final year of his four-year rookie contract worth $3.8 million. Kendrick, a sixth-round pick in 2022, played 17 games in 2023, starting 12 and recording 49 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one interception.
