The New England Patriots will unveil a 12-foot bronze statue of legendary quarterback Tom Brady outside Gillette Stadium on August 8, before their preseason game against the Washington Commanders. This announcement coincides with “Tom Brady Day,” celebrated on June 12 to honor his six Super Bowl titles and jersey number. Brady, who was drafted 199th in 2000, rewrote the franchise’s record books and was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in June 2024 after his departure at the end of the 2019 season, followed by a successful stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
