Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons trained independently during the offseason and returned to the team’s mandatory minicamp 20 pounds lighter, expressing that he feels “great” and “explosive.” Although he faced a winded moment due to a team tradition of doing up-downs for absent players, Simmons was excited to reconnect with teammates, acknowledging the difficulty of being away especially with new members. Under contract in Tennessee through 2027, Simmons is a three-time Pro Bowl selection after the 2024 season.
