Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Houston Texans are likely to sign former Browns running back Nick Chubb on Monday, pending a successful physical. This move follows mutual interest between Chubb and the Texans, as he competes for a starting position alongside Joe Mixon and others, especially with current injuries affecting Mixon and Dameon Pierce. Chubb, who has recovered from a significant knee injury and previously played for the Browns, had a notable career, including a three-year, $36 million contract extension in 2021.
